DwcOccurrence - reference type information when no determinations present. Was: Recent collection object - species name unsaved #1230

After entering various data to "Comprehensive specimen digitization" and saving, then using "Recent" button only "identifier" "Biocuration attributes" "Level 1...appears. But I can not see any species name, family or genus see printscreen

@PJansta Your record is a type-assignment, correct?

The index you see there is currently built of taxon determinations. We need to update the code to also use those assignments if no other taxon-determination is provided. Editing your issue to reflect this as an enhancement, not technically a bug. Thanks for catching it!

Yes, that is correct. It is type assignment.

Ok, I will try to enter also non type specimen to see whether the index will look different.

That's a good test. But you can assume that we will add the functionality described here, and ultimately that index (which is just an index, it will be rebuilt from time to time) will be correct.
