3 years ago We will likely not do this.
- The overhead of having multiple more nested forms (why just notes, why not the other 6+ annotation types) to manage, revert, etc. is high
- The annotator glows when values are there
- We want to encourage people to look for the annotator rather than look for similar fields in different places, there is a learning curve, but when you know what to look for, you are far more effective in getting to the forms.
Other reasons?
Would it be possible to add a notes textbox for the Collection Object and Collecting Event sections of the comprehensive digitization task?
Right now, you have to open the radial annotator to access notes, which interferes with the workflow of having everything on one page.
Somewhat related to #2365, but showing a text field instead of a link to open the notes.
