Feature or enhancement

We have many focus-stacked images that we would like to upload to Taxonworks and were wondering if there is an existing task (i.e. through new image task) that can be used or if it should be done in a custom way.

Location

New Image?

Screenshot, napkin sketch of interface, or conceptual description

Your role

How many distinct COs? From comprehensive digitization you could upload several images at once in the depictions pane, but doesn't solve detecting which images go to which COs and you have to go CO by CO.

Simple new task:

Behaviour is something like this:

Do you think this task will be available soonish, or should I just get a student and upload images one by one (I mean 2-6 per specimens).

Thanks!

István

But I think we have to wait, adding images manually is just seems to me really time consuming and also complicated :).

I think we can have a simple version of this live this week. It will only work if the filename, without the extension, exactly matches the "cached" version of the identifier, like INHS 123.png.

@teleaslamellatus The task is available on sandboxes for testing now. You can try it out there to see if it meets your neesd.

I also thought of another workflow, I may be at the help tomorrow. Basically you get all the identifiers, and use the filter to list all the objects, from there you have a list of target specimens that you can open and add images to, i.e. grouped in one place. I can describe further if you are interested.

I love it! Cannot wait to see it in production!

Thanks a lot!
