To get at this question we need:

Other considerations?

I'm looking now at http://www.xper3.fr/ Software offers import via xper3_2_200px

and export via xper3_3_300px

Import Documentation assuming link works if you're not logged into their software (which I'm not sure is true).

Software features UI view xper3_1

FYI @Antonarctica on twitter, same handle on github

Some features / documentation options / sample CSV for testing import into xper3. xper3_4 You must be logged in to get access to documentation. Sample CSV for "import" into xper3. (I'm not sure this URL will work w/o logging into xper3). They do support other CSV formats besides this one. See Import Documentation.

@debpaul thanks. Ahh, good old SDD. We could make a new issue to add that export format, but frankly it will be quite low priority, the format was never adopted broadly (to my knowledge). Might not be too hard to do though.

[Edit]

The CSV format looks very straight-forward, I'd have some questions about the "[;]" or "[?:?]" meaning. @Antonarctica would a export (or in theory import) in TW be of use to you? If so please add an issue on the main issue tracker - https://github.com/SpeciesFileGroup/taxonworks/issues.
