I missed a few. These are definitely throwing errors. I've not chased down the MML or any details. I am getting new LaTeX from WeBWorK problems from a server from the Open Problem Library. So editing these is a bit of a reach. Just for completeness, could still be "wont fix", but author education will be an uphill battle. No \right
with any of these.

If it helps for the sake of building the Active Calculus braille edition for the upcoming need, I could edit the pertinent OPL problems to use \left. \right|
(or whatever is the recommendation) as needed. Sounds like the kind of thing that would be accepted quickly without question. I would need the webwork-representations file to be scanned for instances of what needs fixing, and then based on that a report of which files in the OPL are the problematic ones. (I can do that, or I could take one that someone has lying around.)
Thanks, Alex. I can generate this pretty easily, I think. But not now - pretty knackered. And I think the braille editor/transcriber needs to get started ASAP. (Majority are in the first chapter of Calc II.)
Lets see where we are in the morning. The transcriber can always do these "by hand."
Last one from Active Calculs for now. Rest are on me.
The TeX
for the evaluation of definite integrals raises an error during the conversion to braille. Scripts involved don't make it easy for me to get a good error message. Seems fine in conversions to MathML and SVG.
Then
succeeds and puts a pipe character into the ASCII braille which I am assuming is correct Nemeth.
I know
\vert
is considered an "operator" by TeX and that the second expression will scale the vertical bar better in other situations. So this could be a "wont fix" - which would be just fine - we'll need some author education then.Pinging some interested parties: @nwakefield2 @mitchkeller @davidfarmer
