There's lots of data we can collect for a variety of purposes. Here are just a few ideas.

user email for emailing lists
user location for finding local cubers and collecting data for competition locations
user's favourite events and unofficial records to show on profiles and populate database of PBs

It could also allow to make rankings per provinces so it could be nice.
