Right now it's difficult to use Advanced LOS because players can attack monsters while hiding behind items or a corner cave without risking damage.
i guess there are two solutions: make npcs move anything that is not attr_move_never that is in the way of their path, while in combat make npcs flee when they cannot reach a combat target
I think advanced LOS should have some higher level of manipulation for the admins. maybe things such as "see through boats" "see through windows" "see through fences" etc. like items that could be considered either blocking fully, or allowed to see through based on a specific shards ruleset. i would like to be able to see over tables, but not see through fences or house windows as an example.
this would make the setting much more user friendly
