Like the midterm, the final will allow you to submit three (3) attempts. Again, there are variations for each question. The biggest difference between the midterm and the final is that on the final, there are either two (2) OR THREE (3) variations for each question. This makes the final slightly harder, because on your 3rd attempt, some of the questions you see will still be new.
I just took the exam three times, and I'm confident that the study guide will serve you well. However, here are a few additional terms and concepts to keep in mind:
Inefficient Coordination
The Efficient Market Hypothesis
No Panacea
Tipping Points
Externalities
Also, if you don't understand what it means when we ask you for a "numeric" answer, or you have been marked down for incorrectly inputting a short answer or numerical question in the past, please touch base with your classmates in the "Final Exam Topics" forum to understand proper formatting. There are clear instructions for each question that asks you to enter information into an empty field - but we always have some - no, many - students who enter their answers incorrectly. Make sure to follow directions to the letter.
The final exam is Due December 31. We recommend you take it after finishing the quiz for sections 19 and 20, and after using the study guide to prepare.
