Error while launching on Linux Mint 17.2 (64bit) #203

labbati commented 8 years ago

Installed .deb package (v1.2.0) and cannot launch the app. I get this error:

$ Encryptr
/usr/bin/Encryptr: error while loading shared libraries: libudev.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

I tried what a few blocg posts suggest for solving the problem (but did not work): sudo ln -s /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libudev.so.1 /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libudev.so.0

Any one else had the same issue?

A few more info:

$ locate libudev.so.0

Try the "Other, 64-bit" version, which worked fine for me on Mint 64bit.

Works fine for me on LM 17.2 KDE (64bit) installed via Konsole: sudo gdebi encryptr_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb

I get a sandbox error when running it from Konsole (Encrypr) so I just run it from the launcher. Make certain you remember your username/paraphrase. There is no way to delete a username.
