Speed up the login process

Speed it up, or at least give it the appearance of being faster.

• try threading the login submit
• see if any fetching can be done AFTER dropping g the login screen
• profile the various aspects of the initial load

IOS seems the worst hit, or at least iPhones vs recent Android phones (i.e.: my HTC One)

Apparently, this is mostly about Crypton and SRP :(

I can still do some work to improve perceived performance.
