Uh-oh... I'm just a user. I just want to open a Spigot&Forge 1.19.3 server that have a lot of plugins and a lot of mods. In the plugins I want to add BungeeCord, in the mods I want to add VoxelMap. I am so sad to see this. But maybe I can tell you a way to init the seed: get seed from server.properties file. I don't know if this can be useful or useless for you, but maybe I can help you solve this problem?

I have had several people report it in the past. The last person that did report it said they would comment on this ticket with more details, but they proceeded to leave our discord server.
I had looked through the code and saw that it should work. So maybe they are using custom builds? I have no clue.

I can know your feeling... It looks like it is working successfully... I think if it works like this, JourneyMap maybe will not work successfully with MultiVerse-Core, too. I have an idea, I hope it won't make you mad. Maybe you can go to learn VoxelMap, that mod don't seem have any terrible bug on this ( the only bug is it cannot just know what server name is it). I will always use JourneyMap. I will wait when this bug is gone. I will never use VoxelMap. Goodbye. I believe JourneyMap will be the most popular mod than VoxelMap!
Plus, I am sorry because I am in China, and in China, it is not allowed to use Discord. I am really sorry. Sometimes maybe I can use some software to use Discord, but I cannot use, and have no time to use, most of the time.

The bug
I am the developer for Journeymap. We use the sha256 hash of the seed that is sent on the login and respawn packets to identify worlds so the map does not get overwritten. However, many of our users complain that on bungeecord servers that the hashed seed is 0 when it gets to the client.
So users get a bunch of overworlds when switching between worlds and maps get overwritten.
