SetupSketchyPhysics3.2-Dec2 install 3.1 version #68

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download SetupSketchyPhysics3.2-Dec2
2. Install it, install software talks about 3.1 version
3. Try it, Sketchup's window says it needs 3.2 version
4. always crash with liebherr ltm 11200 sketchyphysics by Xandre

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

3.2 installation and no crash !

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Sketchup Pro 8.0.4811 on Seven 64 bits

Please provide any additional information below.

what more !?! lol

I have the same problem
MAC (iMAC) running 10.6 and Sketchup 8.0.4810

same here: 3.2 installs as 3.1

trying to make joints: get "need SP3.2"

Win7x64, SU8 (clean install too: this machine *never* had earlier versions of 
SU or SP)

SP newbie so I can't tell if I'm dealing with a bad install, or just don't know 
what I'm doing.

I just submitted a similar issue - should have added to this thread but didn't 
check ahead of time.  Sorry!  Same problem - I need SP3.2, but the update is 
only 3.1.

Apparently the download is simply incorrectly entitled '3.1' and really is 3.2: 
it is the notification " need SP3.2 " which is incorrect.   Sadly, this 
confusion misleads us into blaming SP when the fault really lies elsewhere.  
Exactly what the real fault is depends of course on one's own particular 
experiences but the site offers a wide range of solutions to various issues.

So is there a generic, known "3.2 doesn't work well with SU8" issue?

Comment 4 by read...@sky.com  is correct. The motor function etc. does work but 
it would be nice to have the confusing message and wrong version label fixed.
