So far suggestions are.

Just add a donation button or something, to increase karma. Kinda like pilgrimage in CK I guess I do know they are adding a few mechanics related to a privilege and church building/ destruction At the same time they could just add a yearly progression towards 0 karma if picking religious ideas by SmokedProphet

I'll outline some implementation ideas later today.

UI modding the religious page might be possible but definitely just easier to put this into a decision. The decision can range in complexity from flat gold/% income for flat karma/karma gain over time.

Or we could fire some sort of event that finds the two lowest development provinces in your nation to "invest" in and you can choose one to give some sort of positive modifier (to represent the investment). The gold "invested" into a poor province would represent charity and grant positive karma or something. Just throwing ideas out there.

Not familiar with the CK3 mechanics to comment on them here.

We can pretty easily do this using a triggered modifier. The only question is how to scale it, like prestige, and how much time it should take to decay/gain.

Apparently karma decay existed in the game already image
