Regarding Chrome extension and releases #10

I can add you to the group for the 4chan X Chrome extension, so releases can auto-update for users, if you want.

Also, as for releases, I've noticed you're on 1.3.10, yet the only one users will see is 1.3.6 because you're not releasing the new versions. Is that intentional?

Spittie commented 10 years ago

It would be cool.

I-i might have forgot to tag new releases (As I've been using only grunt patch && git push, I remember having some problems with grunt release)

zixaphir commented 10 years ago

If you're having problems with grunt release, feel free to contact me and I can help you with that.

Spittie commented 10 years ago

It was my fault. And not really a "problem", more me doing the new release, then pushing it with git push, and then after that using grunt release. I guess I just need to start thinking before I do something.

seaweedchan commented 10 years ago

I need an email for the Chrome extension

zixaphir commented 10 years ago

grunt patch && grunt release

Alright. Well, you're a contributor to my fork, and added to the Chrome developer list, so whether you want to use seaweedchan/4chan-x or Spittie/4chan-x is up to you.

I doubt that people would be happy if I started to mess around with your version (even if currently it doesn't allow you to post) - So I guess I'll just keep using my own fork.

I might push only fixes to your version if I can be bothered. We'll see, many guys on /g/ seems somewhat attached to your name. (And I guess they would be happy to have a version that doesn't need to "access data on every website", so they can be happy about not being spied while they use Chrome and Windows).

seaweedchan commented 10 years ago

If you want to just send pull requests for basic fixes for those that want to stay on mine, I'm sure that'd be fine. Leave your fork for all the changes you want to do.
