When a player spectates another match they will stay as "spectating" unless they relog i.e. if they ./spawn etc. This also means that if they join a game wile spectating or without relogging they will still be technically part of the spectated game so they will see the other scores/if on the same map the blocks from the other game will be broken/they can't use any commands of the game including leaving.
