Checks

Version

4.1.4

Description

First - great slider.

Fade does not seem to be not working at all. It is not working on the Splide demo page either (see link below).

Reproduction Link

https://splidejs.com

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Instantiate the slider.
  2. Add {"type": "fade"} as an option (either in JS or via data attribute)
  3. Fade does not work: there are no transitions; it just jumps to the next image.

Expected Behaviour

Fade should work by setting the type and respond to timing settings

I don't confirm. What browser do you have, version, operating system and its version?

joshuaiz commented 1 year ago

@bes-internal I've tested the splidejs.com Fade Transition demo from splidejs.com on macOS Safari, Brave (Chromium), Microsoft Edge (Chromium), and Firefox. There is no fade or transition on the demo.

This is the same behavior I am seeing across macOS on all browsers.

Here is a video showing the behavior: https://www.loom.com/share/9e8d2d3e137b4c6c868ed2879a65242f
