This is a discussion on the NeoGradle issue tracker regarding problems with multi loader/project setups. https://github.com/neoforged/NeoGradle/issues/19

VanillaGradle may also have to make some changes.

Per the readme:

VANILLAGRADLE IS NOT DESIGNED AND IS NOT GENERALLY USEFUL FOR END-USER USE. IT IS FOR TOOLING AND PLATFORM DEVELOPERS WHO HAVE A SOLID WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF GRADLE ONLY!
