[Feature Request] Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode switching #11

:cloud_with_rain: Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

It can be annoying to force touch the airpods pros when switching to anc or to different modes. As it can move the airpods in your ear.

:partly_sunny: Describe the solution you'd like

In the tray panel an airpods pro toggle to switch between the modes hopefully comparable to the ios 14 control centre switcher. This could be made better so that the airpods auto switch to transparency in calls.

:cloud: Describe alternatives you've considered

While using the stem is simple it also pushes around the airpod in your ear which can be irritating. While switching to transparency manually during a call is easy it would be easier for it to auto switch.

:star2: Additional context

The new beats earbuds also has the anc switcher on android which parallels the anc switcher in ios which may make this feature easier to implement.

Currently the program doesn't have a way to do this, the battery value is actively broadcast by the AirPods and the mode switch requires us to actively send something out. I don't know how sending works yet.

I'll try to look into this feature in the future, and thanks for the info letting me know it works on Android, which means it's hopefully implemented on Windows.

really hope that this feature will be implemented one day
