I have to use Linux for my work laptop and AirPods support is horrible, HFP switch doesn't happen automatically, pairing the AirPods can be an ordeal at times, no battery indicator.
:partly_sunny: Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to have build instructions to be able to test what works and what doesn't at the current state of the project and hopefully help with feedback so this project becomes a good alternative for people with AirPods using Linux.
:cloud: Describe alternatives you've considered
I have paired using Gnome Settings Menu or using bluetoothctl on the CLI, but the process fails most of the time and is a bit frustrating. HFP switching is not automatic and I had to download blueman to be able to switch, but it stopped working after a recent Ubuntu update.
