[Feature Request] Auto display/hide tray app at connection/disconnection

The tray app is useful only when AirPods is connected. Other time, I don't want to see it at my task bar.

One proposal is to auto launch the app at AirPods connection and quit at disconnection. I found a relevant thread here. Haven't tried myself though.

An easier alternative is to keep the app running in background, but auto display/hide at AirPods connection/disconnection.

Users need a entry to open AirPodsDesktop even if the AirPods is disconnected:

• This can indicate that the application is really running.

• This can give a way to exit the application instead of opening taskmgr to terminate the process.

• Users need to debug some connectivity parameters such as Bluetooth Receiving Range in the settings to make the application work.

Implementing this proposal would add unnecessary complexity, so I would like to reject it for now. If more people want it in the future, I will reconsider.
