No castling, no en passant and pawns move one square only. all other chess rules apply.
hmm how would you expect to implement "anti" into this variant? What would be the goal of the game (how to win? by losing all pieces or by checkmate?)? What rules of epic chess would change?
this could be a coffee variant. i see where you’re asking this question about whether it’s losing all the pieces or checkmating. because it does look like it’s hard to lose all those pieces to win the game. So I’m open to having it be to win by checkmating. It still would make the ultimate loser’s chess variant.
We're currently focusing on "anti" variants rn because they seem more apt for an antichess variant site and the rules might not work out that way (not sure of the errors that could be faced also it's not really equal for both sides). So if this is ever implemented it would be better to stick with the coffee variant of epic chess.
This would be the ultimate antichess variant you could possibly bring on this site. Each side gets 8 rooks,8 bishops, 8 knights, one king, one queen, 14 pawns on a 10x10 chessboard. this would seriously become the ultimate antichess variant. please consider it.
