numbering issue when downloading all questions as .md #145

If you download all questions in .md from here... https://redesign.aprillion.workers.dev/editors ...there's a formatting issue with numbered list items: all numbers become "1" when the .md file is viewed as a text file.

(The HTML download doesn't have this issue.)

Strangely, when I tried to paste an example of this phenomenon here from the MD file, the formatting gets restored. So perhaps I'm missing something about .md formatting?

outline of answer:
