Change fieldname in data for users' perception of experimental round to "manipulationCheck" #350

When I run N=3, the reconvening doesn't actually occur on the stated experiment rounds. Is the masking not actually occurring and/or the same people aren't actually meeting?

I don't quite understand. What is happening instead?

tawnzz commented 5 years ago

On Bang, the experiment rounds should be the team A and then team A-masked. However, for N=3, it would say something like Experiment rounds: 2 and 5. I would check round 2 and 5, and it wouldn't be team A. Instead it would be like team A and team C; there would be one team member with two different teammates that aren't from the original round.

I'm not sure if this is the behavior for N=4 too. You can't see this now because viewing the chats for the previous version of Bang isn't rendering / white screen.

OK. Lets double check our next run. If that's happening that's a pretty big problem, haha.

batch id pls?

deliveryweb commented 5 years ago

@tonyanguyen@markwhiting could you please help with it? ^^

N=4 team, https://bang-prod.deliveryweb.ru/batches/5d1ce22c5763bb73bd084f2a N=3 team, https://bang-prod.deliveryweb.ru/batches/5d1bcf6e3e06d746e1895d34

However, @deliveryweb explained to me on Slack that the "Experiment rounds" are "user's response. Not real batch values." So I was misinterpreting the current UI display.

My error/confusion may repeat in the future so it may be a good idea to change this language to something like "manipulation check," on the admin facing side because it may be confusing for others who are parsing through the chat data via GUI.
