Value proposition

As a user who prefers a more eye-friendly interface at night, I want to have the option to enable Dark Mode, In order to reduce eye strain and improve usability during nighttime usage.

Description

Acceptance criteria

• There should be a toggle switch or button in the app's user interface to enable and disable dark mode.
• When I toggle dark mode on, the entire app's interface should switch to a dark color scheme
• When I toggle the Dark Mode button, I expect the application's color scheme to switch to dark mode. Toggling the button again should revert the color scheme back to the light mode

Tasks

• create a branch "feature/DarkMode"
• create a user interface that includes an "Dark Mode" Button
• Implement basic functionality to toggle between light and dark
• Determine color schemes for both light and dark modes.
• Verify that text and icons have appropriate contrast in both light and dark modes

I like your Acceptance criteria! It's short and understandable! There is one think to change, i think there are more than three short tasks to do. Maye you can formulate in more detail your creation of the user interface, like a step by step manuel to help when you stuck at coding. Remind: what do you exactly do when you create an interface for your Dark Mode and what do you do to implement your dark mode in your app? But exept this, a very good user story !

hey, keep in mind that QA will expect your final product to look like your wireframe. right now, there is no toggle button. to make it more clearly - the functionality you are about to implement isnt displayed. i guess you should put this "toggle" button into your wireframe. jonas tips to write a more detailed and proper documentation were very good. try to do it a bit more in detail. Imagin you are not familiar with the desginers idea. at this point, it could get a little bit difficult to code :) -> Implement basic functionality to toggle between light and dark <-
