Problem statement:
Users are often ONLY looking at the stats to determine whether the weapon is worth placing on their ship or not. While certain weapons may have the same damage at face value, the stats don't specifically call out shield vs operational vs structural damage, area of impact or damage type for shots (penetration/explosive/fire starting/impulse/etc.) and turret features could/should be standardized in the stats. Usually, this variability is usually noted in the weapon description, but we could better reflect subtle differences in the stats themselves as well. Please note this should not be a high priority issue to fix.
