As reported by email also, the option to limit charging of the battery to 80% seems to behave a bit weirdly.
Sometimes it seems to trickle-charge continuously (gnome says it's not charging, but the battery level does not go down), this seems to happen usually after the laptop was suspended while charging.
At other times, the laptop stops charging at 80%, but doesn't start charging again until I unplug and replug the charger.
I am mostly having a USB-C hub connected through which the laptop charges.
