Monterey 12.3 update - CMP 5,1, GeForce GTX780 only one DVI port working? #168

Hi all,

so... I have a 2010 CMP 5,1 with NVIDIA GeForce 780 3Gb, 2 x SSD + 2 x SATA, 32Gb RAM. Monterey 12.2 and Bug Sur 11.6.2 both installed on separate SSD's via BigMac2 and OpenCore to chain load the OS. 2 x 24' Apple HD Displays connected into the 2 x DVI ports on the graphics card.

The problem...

My son was using the CMP and saw the pop-up for 12.3 update. He clicked yes and the update went ahead and completed. CMP booted into 12.3 after the update, but only the 1st DVI port shows output to the screen?

Ran the BigMac2 post install, rebooted, exactly the same???

Booted into my BigSur install and both screens work????

Thought I would boot into a CarbonCopyClone HDD of my 12.2 Monterey install to overwrite and correct the 12.3 update, but only one screen works...????

Well confused!!!

I have reinstalled Monterey 12.1 over the SSD via BigMac2, ran the post installer and still only one screen works?

Please help! What am I missing?

Apple keeps neutering Nvidia cards. I have 3 unsupported Mac Pros and only one has an Nvidia card and it is my MAME machine running Mojave still.

My other two machines have ATI Radeon cards and they both work extremely well with Monterey and BigSur.
