Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
In Edge of the Empire and Age of Rebellion, triggering Obligation or Duty raises or lowers a related stat. Specifically:
Triggering Obligation reduces Strain Threshold for the entire party by 1, and 2 for the Character whose Obligation was triggered.
Triggering Duty increases Wound Threshold for the entire party by 1, and 2 for the Character whose Duty was triggered.
For either, rolling a double on the dice when determining the Duty or Obligation roll doubles the positive or negative effect.
Presently, there is no way for players or GMs to activate these status effects on characters, besides manually modifying the strain threshold, which can cause confusion if a player forgets to revert it afterwards.
This process could be improved with a simple addition to the Obligation and Duty sections of the actor sheets.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add some method of applying these status effects to the character via the Obligation/etc sections of the character sheet. Checkboxes make sense, and you might have a set of checkboxes like so for Obligation:
Party Obligation Triggered
My Obligation Triggered
Double Obligation Effect
Describe alternatives you've considered
Some groups use either Critical Injuries (which impact critical rolls inadvertently) or gear (which is unintuitive) for to apply these status effects.
Additional context
Maybe you could roll some stuff with Morality into this, but it seems quite different and I dunno anything about it
