2 months ago The coding part is easy, the biggest issue is picking lines to overwrite. Unlike normal dialogue, there are very few blank spaces in which we can add new lines to marriage dialogue, and we can't really pick the best spaces because marriage expansion mods probably picked them already. We'll have to take a look at each character and their expansion mods to make sure our mod isn't conflicting with them. We can also add those lines in specific days like Winter 6. If you don't mind that, this is easy enough to do with a Content Patcher pack. DM me on Nexus if you still want to go through with it!
Okay so hear me out, I haven't played the polyamory mod so idk if this is already a function. BUUUT it would be cool if along with that mod every spouse has a few romantic dialogues that they may cycle through about each other spouse. Keep in mind that this is under the assumption that all of you are romantically involved with each other.
For example: You're married to both Emily and Elliott. Emily occasionally on some mornings will say something about being married to Elliott, and vice versa.
I think there's a part of the mod that allows spouses to kiss each other but I may be wrong. If not that would also be a fun inclusion.
These dialogue options would only activate if you're married to more than one option. If you're married to Emily and Elliott, then Emily would only have extra dialogue for Elliott and vice versa.
I'd love to make an extension of the Free Love mod like this. I'm thinking I'd make 3 possible dialogues for each spouse to each other spouse. That would be 3 lines for 11 bachelors, so that's 33 for each bachelor, and... 396 lines altogether for the whole mod... Yeah, that adds up quick I'm now realizing.
I still think I'd be up for the challenge:) Idk how hard this would be to code though. I'm only good at the idea-having and the creativing.
