It's time to choose a new leader for Stardew Valley, #1286

Aren't you tired of just being a farmer in the game? Now it's time to take on a new role. If you ask if Mayor Lewis is a good Mayor, I think no, but how do you know who is better than him? Here's your opportunity. There will be an election every 2 years in the valley, of course it depends on your reputation, a slower or faster election. It's coming, and not only you but also the other NPCs in the valley have a chance. Don't worry if you lose to them, you can become vice Mayor too.

I love this idea for a few reasons. First if all, it potentially creates a whole new quest line. Second, I have an issue with a mayor who abuses his power, strings along a business owner, skulks around the bushes at night, looses his skivvies, and just generally is not a man of integrity. He should man up or get out. He is such an oily politician. Marnie deserves WAY better. SCVE needs a mayor who will represent all the valley - not just a few people.

CJBaker77 Thanks for your comment. I don't have any coding knowledge or modeling skills to make this mod. I wanted to write this idea here to see if anyone thinks like me and yes Stardew Valley is a great game but it would be great to see what it is. What would happen if that happened, and what would it be like to replace Lewis as president? I'm curious, making this mod better is not just limited to my idea, I hope others will share their ideas and come up with something nice.
