Much like how flowers can produce multicolored crops, fruits and vegetables can come in several different colors.

The apple tree could have an equal chance to produce red, green, or yellow apples; cauliflower could have the rare chance to be purple, perhaps resulting in a slight selling price increase; pumpkins could come in a wide variety of shapes and colors.
