Ever struggled to get into your slime hutch to organize things because the little beggars keep swarming you?
No never struggeled with that, because you can simply design the interrior in a way that slimes cant actually hit you. an example is listed on the wiki: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Slime_Hutch
Slime balls can not spawn on placed tiles, so you can always harvest at the entrance, while the slimes themselves stay in the upper area since that's where they spawn.
Oh I do that too. Except I have automatic gates so the little beggars keep escaping when I move too close (I've barricaded them off though). I want to be able to get in there and cull some of the orange ones so i can breed more purple ones but it's hard to keep them from clustering around me.

Ever struggled to get into your slime hutch to organize things because the little beggars keep swarming you? And you can't just kill them because you want to keep your rare purple slime?
The slime lure would be a placeable item (maybe craftable) that acted as a distraction, perhaps for a limited time, allowing you to lure the slimes away into a corner so you could move in and fix up your fencing without any unfortunate fatalities.
Only works on domesticated slimes.
An additional feature? Find a way to create and activate the "Slime crate" that partially exists in code but was never implemented.
