Don't Enable Pam (CP)

This mod changes the "Pam Is Thirsty" story quest to require juice instead of pale ale. It is a small content pack made for Content Patcher with a few bits of edited text.

Where translations appear in-game

There are two variants of each translation: one used when Pam sends the changed quest mail, and one when Penny sends it. You can switch between variants using the mod's config settings.

Translations are seen in the quest log entry for the "Pam Is Thirsty" story quest, and for the dialogue seen from Pam when the player completes that quest. There are also two different versions of the quest letter (four total if all Pam/Penny variants are included). One version is seen if the player has not yet read the original quest letter before installing the mod. The second version is seen in a new quest letter if the player had already seen the original version of the first one.

Notes for translators

I tried to keep these modified versions of the quest details and letter pretty close to the originals. You can find the vanilla translations for the original game components in the Data/mail and Data/Quests assets from the game's Content folder. (E.g., Data/mail.es-ES.json and Data/Quests.es-ES.json for Spanish.)
