Before the game starts, and to allow the player to choose their customisable options I have created a new main menu. It is a separate window to the main game.

The main menu has two functions: -Display and let client choose which room they want to join

-Let client choose their display options

If a room exists, the room selection menu will change to reflect this

The first client is given a waiting room until the game starts.
