[bug]: Reporting strange behaviour (CryptPad not working properly); strange ways were required to fix it #7

Environment - EOS 0.3.1~1, CryptPad 5.0.0, Firefox Version 103.0.2 (64-bit) on maxOS Monterey 12.1

Could not access my CryptPad via LAN today. I tried restarting it, and this did not fix the issue. I then went into config and switched it to use Tor instead of LAN. I could then launch the UI after this. I switched the config back to using LAN and successfully launched the UI again. I could not access my CryptDrive at this point (it would lead me to a black page), but I was able to create new documents. I created a text document and stored it onto my Drive after being prompted. After this, I could access my Drive again, and the behaviour seems to be back to normal.

Odd, this is probably an issue upstream in the OS. Can you see if you can reliably recreate, and if so, what the steps were? Also if you are able to recreate, can I ask you to check the logs and see if there's any error messages or anything strange that appears there?

I'll see what I can do if it ever happens again and hopefully provide more useful information, but I don't know what triggered the problem. One day I was using the service just fine, and the next day it randomly stopped working. Can't think of anything that could have been the cause right now.

Let's test this again after 0.3.2 is released and see if the issue still exists. If so, we'll revisit then.
