ok, please, use pimp my wii to completely install all needed cios, then retry
to use my app (or just use the last D2X installer).

I'm having this issue as well, except I can't move any files to the SD card at
all. Attempting to extract any files results in the error. I don't understand
what this "usb8/" location is, as all I have inserted in the Wii is my SD card
and I can't edit any custom paths. Attempting to update the program results in
an error as well, and I also can't open any error logs.

I am running IOS58 and enabled it in the arguments in meta.xml and this didn't
help either.

I tried forcing 248 and it still indicated it was loading 249 when it started
up. I had the same usb8:/ problem. However, I changed it in settings (custom
paths) to usb1: (carefully putting same path with just the usb8:/ changed to
usb1:/).
