The python files are all empty, is this project still Alive ?

You might want to start looking into

I am not sure to what extent we can borrow from it. Initially, I didn't want to change the implementation of catboost to retain as much of its efficiency as possible. But it seems like there are some changes to be made to arrive at multi-parameter optimization.

You can create a pull-request and I'll check out your suggestions
