convert project to typescript and webpack #4

I think this isn't a great route to explore right now. webpack and existing typings aren't working well. maybe just convert to simple typescript for now. Use our own typings for the few functions we need.

[ ] try to use mxGraph typings. I've seen some around (not sure how accurate they are).
[ ] contribute fixes back to https://github.com/typed-mxgraph/typed-mxgraph

Draw.io is too far from typescript. Not worth it.
