Having this page open triggers push notifications https://steamdb.info/realtime/
Thanks for the fast reply. Yes I saw that feature it looks like a good start. However I think it is unpractical to have a web page open constantly. With using emails and pushbullet you can be notified at any time on any device.
Realtime Stream Beta show only a desktop notification, not email, Telegram or Steam message.
Just was looking into something like this as well. I triggered temp IP Ban when using a third party addon...

Cloudflare rate limiting. You probably got a 429 IIRC.
A feature like this would be great.
I'm not sure how the 'Watch' feature is supposed to work because it doesn't seem to work for me at all. It seems that all it does is highlight the 'Watched' app as yellow in the 'realtime' stream but doesn't send out an actual notification so if you haven't got that screen opened you will very easily miss it.
I have noticed that the FAQ mentions a '#steamdb-announce IRC channel', does anybody know of a way how this could be used to get a notification when a certain app gets updated? https://steamdb.info/faq/#can-i-use-auto-refreshing-plugins-or-automatically-scrape-crawl-steamdb
I would love to see this feature!
If you're going to script against that websocket, host steamwebpipes yourself.
Since this is still not implemented, what's everyone's favorite way to get notified? Seems like the realtime page is gone too

Well, I switched to https://isthereanydeal.com which does everything I wanted regarding notifications for price changes. If you want notifications for other types of changes, I haven't heard of an answer yet.
The watchlist feature is great. However one additional feature to this that would be great to add to it is the ability to be notified of an update. Ideally via email and services like pushbullet. I already do notifications like for my project LinuxGSM and I think that users of SteamDB including myself would appreciate being notified of updates to specific games. Being notified of dedicated server updates for example is very useful for server admins.
Thank you
