Oh, looks like I've forgotten to merge the live code on Dropbox here. Another thing of note is that you should've put the installer in the tf/custom directory instead of just tf/, although apparently the instructions say differently, so I'll merge your pull request as well. Thanks for the reminder!
Fixed in 63cab8e42b3a562367c37d17948b34837075e273 and bbbca8eade2d4b2679b482e5195647741553e64d.
Well, I just reverted bbbca8eade2d4b2679b482e5195647741553e64d since it introduced some… issues. Besides that, I think the stuff on the instructions page may have regressed. So, uhh, just shove the installer in tf/custom/.
Okay, 0303d00142970f33628daa621e27fc60fbd0e891 now implements this change a bit differently.
Cool, thanks!

I got installer, put it in Team Fortress 2/ft directory, launched it. And nothing. Nothing was changed in my in-game HUD. Am I doing something differently? Why it extracts zip with unzip -qo? It is putting
scripts
andresource
folders insidepvhud
folder. Is script outdated now?
