StefanJAuer / RaySAR

RaySAR is a 3D synthetic aperture radar (SAR) simulator which enables to generate SAR image layers related to detailed 3D object models. Moreover, it enables one to localize the 3D positions and surface intersection points related to reflected radar signals. In particular, RaySAR helps to understand the nature of signal multiple reflections at man-made objects (e.g. building structures) or artificial shapes. Scene models with different levels of detail can be processed - from digital surface models (DSMs) to high-end 3D structures - which can be defined in relative or absolute world coordinates. RaySAR can be run on Windows / Linux and is based on an adapted version of the open-source ray tracer POV-Ray.

TerraSAR-X orbit file and related image files for Eiffel Tower Model #12

Respected Sir, 

                   You have simulated in your one of the research paper taking Eiffel Tower as model. As you already provided me POV file of Eiffel tower. I am exploring your Ray SAR software but again I am stuck in Simulation_Data window for Modeling/Rendering. I have read your documents but due to lack of data and necessary files , I am unable to understand properly.

I have tried for some other XML meta files and image files but I need files related to Eiffel Tower Model as it already published.

               It is requested to you to provide  Eiffel tower model related files such as orbit file , image files , SAR Image files and other necessary details that I could implement and follows your published results for better understanding.

Dear Sadaulla,

Actually, there is no need to work with Simulation_Data, as it is only a working environment you may use. More straightforward: just adapt the sensor & surface parameters in the Eiffel tower .pov file, using the POV-Ray editor, and run it in POV-Ray to generate “Contributions.txt”. Thereafter, load the points in the GUI “Simulation of 2D maps” and generate SAR image data.
