Mercurial support #64

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
The website mentions Mercurial support but after executing 'ant run' and
adding a mercurial URL, the application crashes (with some svn errors).

Looking at the wiki here I noticed there are some hacks that someone did
the *could* add mercurial support.

Could you either include those changes or remove Mercurial from the list of
repositories on the front page ?

There is a Mercurial log converter in the convert_logs directory. Both
convert_logs.py
and hg_log.py will do it.

Might I suggest then updating
http://code.google.com/p/codeswarm/wiki/GeneratingAVideo ?

Mercurial is only mentioned in the comments to the document and those look old
now
that you say it's included in the trunk.

Using that script I'm able to run codeswarm, but only via the ./run.sh script,
not
using ant.run.

If granted permissions, I can update the wiki for you.

Thank you, I edited the page now.

The initial version is rev 277 (
http://code.google.com/p/codeswarm/source/browse/wiki/GeneratingAVideo.wiki?spec
=svn277&r=277
) and the latest is rev 283 (
http://code.google.com/p/codeswarm/source/browse/wiki/GeneratingAVideo.wiki?spec
=svn283&r=283
)

I thought that it would look better in a tabular format (like a reference card)
but
if you don't like it you can revert to 277.
