GraXpert won't open on Mac after update #188

So I updated my Mac laptop to a newer version and now whenever I try to open the app it tells me that the app need to be updated from the developer, and I also I get this (“GraXpert” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.) can I get help with this please, much appreciated, and also my Mac software now is Sonoma 14.6.1.

I am suffering the same fault, please help! I am running Ventura 13.6.9

I went to System setting, privacy & security, scrolled down to Allow applications downloaded from click on App Store and identified developers. GraXpert is now running perfectly! Make sure you click on the second option and NOT the first.

As a workaround you can still open the app by viewing your application list in finder, right click to open GraXpert and it will give you the option.
