Lock & Unlock Commands don’t work properly #166

When asking Siri to Lock the Car while the car is locked, the car unlocks. Trying to create an automation that will lock the car upon arriving to home or work. If I already lock the car and the automation runs, it’ll unlock the car.

I’ve also noticed if I tell the car to lock the car. It says the car is unlocked. Sometimes I have to say unlock the car in order for the car to lock.

I have the same issue, what seems to happen is the status is only updated every hour and typically the last setting is 'locked' so when arriving at my destination the homekit only sees the last state the plug-in is in, which was locked. Thus it would either ignore my lock request or just unlock the car. I edited shortcut to lock the car wait 5 seconds then lock the car. This has been successful

Adding my experience to the list. I have an automation setup that locks the car when the door into the house closes. But the car unlocks if it is already locked.

Any updates on this?
