Have to fix the vanilla ones first, but putting this here for collecting ideas.

Slumbering Swarm: devouring swarm that feel asleep millennia ago. Hope it stays that way...

In theme with but not requiring the new X-Pac: A fallen FEDERATION - same size as a regular FE, but each system is a separate country and they're tied up in an unbreakable federation!
