Stellarium is a free GPL software which renders realistic skies in real time with OpenGL. It is available for Linux/Unix, Windows and macOS. With Stellarium, you really see what you can see with your eyes, binoculars or a small telescope.
Now Stellarium has telescope control via INDI library. But INDI also supports a lot of astronomical cameras. It would be great to allow take images with them.
Also, now Stellarium can simulate view through telescope with eyepieces and sensors. It would be good to integrate images from camera to this. For example you select some object, select view through sensor, and after this make image of this region by your camera.
