No Window shows up for DeskPad when the application is started (MacOS) #28

Each time I click on DeskPad icon in my Dock, it doesn't come up with any window, I've clicked on "Show All Windows" option as well to find the window and it says "No Available Windows".

The only alternative that I've found is to go to my Screen Mirroring options and select a new resolution for the DeskPad Virtual Monitor, then it shows up and I can freely work with it.

Once I quit and reopen it, same thing repeats again.

I'll second this bug.

I've seen this problem as well. Here's what I think is happening, at least in my case.

When I plug in a real screen, many (most all) windows move from my laptop screen to the other screen. I suspect the same thing is happening when running DeskPad. All of the windows move to the DeskPad screen ... including DeskPad! The DeskPad window cannot be accessed because the DeskPad window is on the DeskPad screen.

That's my hypothesis at this point. Thank you for the resolution change technique. I'll give that a try.

In order to find the deskpad window, I control/right click on the DeskPad Icon in the dock. Under Options, I selected "Desktop on Display 2". This moved the deskpad window to the laptop display where I can work with the window and contents.
