This only occurs when the combine is full and is facing the tractor (head-to-head) when it calls to be dumped. When a tractor (or truck with long trailer) sits waiting for the combine and gets called, the tractor will drive past the combine and attempt to make a 180 degree turn in order to align with the combine pipe. Unfortunately, it makes the turn a bit too early resulting in the trailer missing the pipe and the tractor goes into an endless loop trying to align with the pipe.
I have attempted to adjust the pipe offset to no avail. This could be resolved if the tractor could just extend the drive past the sitting combine by about 20 yards before making the turn back to the pipe which would allow for a perfect alignment.
