Translate foreign word to English before computing semantic similarity #41

  1. Description:

    • Problem: The foreign word does not get translated before computing the semantic sim. this causes the rating to be wrong.

    • Solution: We should see if there is a simple way to translate the word, or add the user to input the English translation.

    • Prerequisites: Could use: https://pypi.org/project/deep-translator/ or for now ask the English translation

  2. Tasks:

    • Translate word to English before calculating the semantic similarity

  3. Additional context See the semantic sim. for the chinese word for cat

According to g2p they use ISO-639 and some modification
