We've launched from a hackathon and it shows, my code is learn-and-rush. What are our tech choices? How do we clean up early technical debt? Do we use jquery or not?

I think it would be helpful for the people with tech backgrounds to leave a comment with your plan, or maybe a couple ideas of plans, or a better written piece of code to compare this too ... refactoring deserves a discussion, start the discussion!
